We have hired lots of voice-over talent in the last twenty years of doing games and animations and Laila is our favorite. Her voice quality and range is impressive. That bass and that milky-smoothness. And if all that wasn’t quite enough – she is funnier than a flatulent cat with a dry cleaning bag on its head. And that right there makes voice sessions a pure joy. We even ask her to improv for us so we can use some of her free-range humor in our animations. We love Laila!

Even after working together for three years, Laila never ceases to surprise me.
I direct a children’s show where she voices two of the characters (a boy and a mom) and I think my favorite experiences with her are when she goes extra goofy.
She was able to nail hamming it up doing things like an old timey knight version of the mom character. Or having the boy character get extra worked up. We had one recording session where I needed about a hundred animal sounds, and she was able to deliver. Surprised Cow? Depressed goat? She had me covered.
She’s also incredibly responsive and communicative in-between sessions, which I really appreciate.

When hearing Laila’s voice reel we knew it was her that we had to hire for a voice over for one of our cartoon characters.
